How can my child take medication during Pine Crest Summer Camp?

MEDICATIONS AT CAMP: By law, our nurses are unable to dispense any medication, including over the counter products, without the Physician Authorization Form on file. Again, this must be completed by a Florida physician.  All medications are to be distributed through the Health Office.

If medication is needed during camp hours, please visit the Health Office prior to the first day of camp. If you are unable to visit campus, please send the medication with your child on the first day of camp. Your camper will be escorted to the Health Office to deliver the medication to our nurses. Please leave these medications at camp for the entire duration of your child's summer camp. The medication must be sent in the proper pharmaceutical container and must be marked with the following:

  • Child's full name
  • Exact dosage to be taken
  • Time of day that the medicine should be dispensed

All products, including common aspirin and any over-the-counter items, must be kept in the Health Office.
