By law, our nurses are unable to dispense any medication, including over-the-counter products, without a Florida physician/practitioner authorization form on file. All medications are to be distributed through the Health Office.
Medications should be left at camp for the entire duration of your child's program. The medication must be sent in the proper pharmaceutical container and must be marked with the following:
- Child's full name
- Exact dosage to be taken
- Time of day that the medicine should be dispensed
All products, including common aspirin and any over-the-counter items, must be kept in the Health Office.
